December Favourites 2014!

So.... that was an unexpected blogging hiatus?! Apologies for my absence, Christmas festivities / travelling around visiting various people got the better of me unfortunately... I am now back and raring to go with a backlog of photographs to slowly work my way through.....

I didn't have a November favourites last month, it was pretty much the same as my October favourites and I didn't want to go picking things that I hadn't really been loving. So this month I've had two month to make picks of things I've really been enjoying - so let's get stuck in!

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser - £2.75
I am in no mood to stand around baring all whilst I moisturise during these cold winter months, but my skin is most definitely thirsty... I was skeptical about this product but I now certainly get what it's all about. Takes just a few seconds in the shower and skin is left silky soft. Will definitely be re-purchasing and it's currently on offer at Boots!

Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush - £21.99 in set
I have recently started using this brush for my concealer and it has been putting my Beauty Blender to shame. It acts just like a miniature version of the buffing brush and blends concealer in seamlessly. Annoyingly, you can't buy this brush on it's own and only in the starter set, but all the brushes are pretty handy and for £22 it's a steal!

Seche Vite Top Coat - £9
I was so late to the party on this one. Super glossy, super fast drying and a lot of ml for your money. I don't have a bad word to say about this top coat. Keep your eyes peeled in TK Maxx for these where you can pick up a bottle for a couple of quid!

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso - £8.91
I love a good Amazon find! Milani is a hard brand to come by in the UK but for some reason Amazon stocked this blush... I bought it on a whim and didn't have many expectations having not tried the brand before but I have fallen in love with this blush! It's peachy with a subtle shimmer and pretty opaque. It pairs really nicely with bronzer and a bronze / gold eye and I would definitely recommend placing an order on this one (free shipping too!)

Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow - £17.50
I bought this a long time ago when there was a lot of hype around using it as a contour... I didn't love it, so it sat in a box unused for a while until I found it again a few weeks ago. I started using it as an eyeshadow base and have used it pretty much every day since I started. It is a great base for anyone who loves a subtle eye look like I do and wants a little more staying power to their eyeshadows. I had previously been using the Maybelline colour tattoos, but Hollow is a lot much blendable and generally easier to work with. A little pricey, but it would definitely last a long time and it makes eye make up a doddle!

The Body Shop Aloe Lip Treatment - £5
My lips have been chapping and cracking really badly this month now that the temperature has dropped. This lip treatment has been doing the world of good to provide a protective barrier to the wind and cold whilst actually soothing my lips underneath. It is quite thick and a bit sticky, but no worse than a lip gloss would be. The tube is pretty big for £5 too, and it's suitable for sensitive skin!

Elf Blending Brush - £3.95
After using this brush, there is no way I will be buying another Mac 217... I actually prefer this brush and it's under £4! This brush is so soft, buff shadow in effortlessly and is such a bargain - I can't recommend it enough! I think this brush is often sold out online.... but if you live in or near Cardiff you can go to the Elf store and pick one up! I will definitely be picking up a few more of these.

And there it is!

Let me know if you've tried any of these products and what your thoughts were

Hope everyone has had a happy start to 2015!
