I hadn't heard anything about these highlighters when I stumbled across them at the Urban Decay counter. Another product to join the 'Naked' family... the Illuminated Highlighers in Aura and Luminous. (I can't find the Luminous online, but I purchased in Debenhams)

These two highlighters are truly dreamy. Hence why I had to leave with both... oops! Unfortunately, as per usual with these kinds of products it is almost impossible to truly capture how they look in photos. They're multi-dimensional and all kinds of gleam-y.

Aura is a gorgeous combination of pink, coral and gold - perfect for summer evenings! Luminous is much brighter - I would liken it to The Balm's Mary Lou-Manizer but with a warmer tone which is better suited to many skin tones. The pigmentation of both is pretty high, but they need something sticky to prevent them from dropping - so don't set your foundation or make sure you use a setting spray when you use these!

As the box suggests, these are intended for use on face or body - so they're perfect for nights on the town and the size of them is pretty generous! They aren't great, however, for taking out with you as the box is pretty bulky. But if you do want to take them travelling there is a brush hidden underneath the powder and a mirror inside which is always handy.

I can't wait to pick up some more bits from the Naked range. Everything I've tried has really impressed me so far!
