June Favourites 2015

It's favourites time everybody!

I don't have that many favourites this month. Or maybe I do and I've forgotten them.. Alas, these are the stand-out things which I have loved this month!

MAC Cosmetics Paint Pot in Soft Ochre - £16
WHERE HAVE I BEEN WITHOUT THIS?! I have seen this used a lot as an eyeshadow base. Initially I thought it would be a little dark on me (I'm naturally very very  pale) but it sheers out a lot and is perfect for evening out the skin tone on blue toned lids. The pot is filled to the brim as well so it should last a long time. This is definitely my new must-have for intense eye looks!

SUPERFACIALIST Vitamin C+ Cleansing Oil - £10.99 (although currently on offer at £7.33)
I wish I'd given in to the hype around this cleanser earlier. It reminds me of The Body Shop Satsuma range in its smell - it's a very sweet orangey smell which I love. It removes make up beautifully and doesn't leave an oily residue.

Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz - £5.99 (currently £3.99)
I've been using a few spray toners recently, including the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and the La Roche Posay Serozinc. I've been really enjoying this as a budget alternative - I think it's just as good and only a couple of pounds! This is really calming for my skin, especially after exfoliating.

Betsey Johnson Sunglasses
I bought these in TK Maxx, so I'm not sure where they are available but they often have Betsey Johnson sunnies there so it is worth a look! I was after some tortoise-shell shades and I fell in love with these ones! They have pretty dark lenses too so have been a life-saver on really bright days!

One More Things: Stories and Other Stories by B.J. Novak - £11.99
If you didn't know already, I'm a huge comedy nut. I love watching it, reading it, obsessively pinterest-searching it. B.J. Novak is a favourite of mine.. he wrote and exec. produced a lot of The Office (US) which is my favourite show ever! It's a collection of hilarious short stories - the first one being a sequel to the tortoise and the hare story you hear as a child! Perfect light-hearted humour - he's a very clever and hilarious man!
